Rita Hayworth saves this from being absolutely terrible. This is one of the messiest films I’ve ever had the displeasure of watching, with a main character who’s boring narration and crazy decisions border on literal insanity. The man literally locks the live interest in a prison-like state, forcing her to spend all her time alone and away from seeing other people. It’s so messed up, and the ending is very weak. Luckily ever scene with Hayworth is very fun though, she was an amazing actress.
