Three of the best actors working together on a film about a biker gang, this had all the makings to be a truly great film. However, this isn’t truly great. Not a bad film by any means but not really all that good either, the films stays in the same gear from start to finish. The storytelling choices confuse me and it really misses with its flat ending. I know what Nichols was going for but it didn’t really work for me, and in the end I left the cinema not feeling any different from when I walked in.
