One of the greatest films I’ve ever seen, a true masterpiece. Everything about this is perfect and it shows how the more things change, the more things stay the same. Truly beautiful cinema and this will go down as one of the greatest films I’ve ever seen.

I made my roommate watch this since he usually helps me out with sound equipment when I make my school projects. Such an incredible film. Peter Lorre is such a treasure, and I want to watch everything in his filmography. I don't know what I was expecting, but when I watched this for the first time, I was blown away by how morally aware the film was for something made in the 1930s. Without a doubt, one of the greatest films to have been made. I've rewatched this once, I'll rewatch it again someday. I also intend to dive even deeper down Fritz Lang's career, even if this and Metropolis are considered the peaks of his filmography.

Fritz Lang's "M" is really cool to watch, even though the film is a bit older. The story is very easy to understand. The film is still very relevant today, as we're still debating whether to keep or abolish the death penalty. Overall, it's a very powerful old German film with a message that's still important today.

Great rainy day watch, loved a lot of the camerawork here. Stoked to see what else Lang has in store when I watch Metropolis soon.

It is less about murder and more about systems failing—legal, social, moral. It’s bleak, controlled, and disturbingly compassionate in places you don’t expect.
