Diary Entry forLe Samouraï
Very little dialogue, beautiful cinematography and an interesting plot. A lot to love about this, a fun simple time, the cop was my favourite character and performance. The suits and hats are also very cool.

Le Samouraï
Le Samouraï is a very cool assassin film by Jean-Pierre Melville. The film is nicely slow-paced and has relatively little dialogue; I'm a big fan of films like this. In my opinion, Alain Delon as Jef Costello exudes his aura throughout the entire film, precisely because he hardly speaks and is dressed so coolly and old-fashionedly. I love him. Overall, a very strong film that I would rate 4.2/5 ⭐.
Le Samouraï
There are many films from various filmmakers that are still as relevant today as they were upon their initial release. Le Samourai is one of those rare films that still influences filmmakers today, leaving a lasting impression on the film industry as a whole. 50 years after the release, Le Samourai still feels as relevant as ever. It's a masterpiece of a film that offers a perfect blend of atmosphere and action, all the while having a terrific performance by Alain Dolan. Le Samourai is one of the most influential films of all time and it's still clearly seen in films today, making it one of the most powerful films to grace the silver screen.
