Diary Entry forRed Riding: The Year of Our Lord 1974
This is just quite silly. It tries to be this deep and disturbing film about tragedy and pain but really it’s just dull and uninspiring. The whole thing plays like a cheap rip off of a film which takes inspiration from greats like the shining without really exploring the inner details on what makes these films great and this so shallow. A good lead performance though.

Thought this was quite good overall, but it’s hard to feel it out entirely, granted it tells a pretty complete story, but it’s also definitely a first film in a series. Definitely intrigued enough to give the next one a shot though.
