Diary Entry forA Bronx Tale
Good. The acting from the main characters was great, but some of the side characters really took me out of it with their bad performances. A great tale with many quotable moments, I really liked the ending too. It tied everything together well, and goes to level the many talents of De Niro.

A Bronx Tale
A Bronx Tale is a touching and beautifully told coming-of-age story with consistently superb acting. The dynamic between Calogero, his father, and Sonny is compelling, and the film strikes the perfect balance between warmth, suspense, and relatable lessons. I particularly enjoyed the film because I love the atmosphere of the 1960s; the soundtrack is fantastic, and the ending especially moved me. Overall, A Bronx Tale is a moving and unforgettable film that stays with you long after the credits roll.
A Bronx Tale
A Bronx Tale is one of the best mafia movies out there. I really liked the relationship between Calogero and Sonny, and how Calogero grows up surrounded by the mafia world. The contrast between Sonny and Calogero’s father is perfectly written his father disapproves of Sonny, which creates a strong emotional conflict. I also liked how, when Calogero meets the girl, no one wants him to date her except the “bad guy,” Sonny. After Sonny’s death, Calogero realizes that many of the lessons Sonny taught him were actually right. This shows how well the movie is written and why it’s such a powerful and memorable story.
A Bronx Tale
It’s not just another gangster movie it’s about choices, loyalty, and growing up around the wrong people trying to do the right thing. And yeah, I’ll say it… this was actually better than Goodfellas.
