Daniel Craig plays a great role again in his second Bond, however the villain and story arnt nearly as good as in Casino Royale. Mr. Greene is lacklustre and not scary, and the story is more confusing. Overall great action though and a solid Bond.

Quantum of Solace

Gets us from Casino Royale to Skyfall, presumably. Can you figure out what's happening during the action sequences? Had to rest my eyes repeatedly. I'll cut it some slack, though, as it was made before they had secured the rights again to Spectre, Blofeld, all that jazz, so this has the unfortunate effect of being an errant 100 minute cold-open for the more cohesive films to come. Oh, I was just handed a note here... this was during the writer's strike, too? So they're all just winging it on set?? This explains so much. It's a mess. One of the henchmen looks like Will Stranger Things all grown up and he's got a GUN, causing us unintentional hilarity. Hey-oh, I forgot David Harbour shows up! Wow, he plays a good stinker.

Quantum of Solace

Quantum of Solace is a fantastic film, but does not live up to it's predecessor. Instead of making the films better, the series seems to have taken a step back, adding more characters instead of the action. While there still was tons of action, it felt rather empty. While this still was a good movie, it was nowhere near as good as Casino Royale was. It's still James Bond, but a rather tame and uninteresting Bond.
