Maybe Leo’s best ever performance, it’s hard to really say though after so many to choose from. Loved this. Thought it was interesting throughout and I didn’t mind the long runtime, I feel it flowed well. Still not sure why the captain left Fitzgerald with those three, I mean it was pretty obvious he wasn’t sincere in his promise. Apart from that it’s a great time.

The Revenant

Picking up some of the big ones I've missed for whatever reason. For my money one of the rare times a film outpaces its book. Fills out a proper world in which to bleed. Sense of place, flippin' gorgeous and it knows it. And that grounding Sakamoto score, RIP <3

The Revenant

The Revenant is visually stunning and incredibly immersive, with Leonardo DiCaprio delivering a powerful and intense performance. The film’s harsh atmosphere and long, quiet stretches might feel slow at times, but they add to its brutal, realistic tone. Overall, The Revenant is a gripping survival drama that’s both beautiful and punishing in all the right ways.

The Revenant

The Revenant is an incredibly beautiful film, and I absolutely loved its atmosphere. Leonardo DiCaprio’s performance is outstanding, intense, and unforgettable. I honestly didn’t expect a western-style movie released after the 2000s to be this good, but it completely surprised me. The breathtaking visuals, the harsh wilderness, and the emotional weight of the story all come together perfectly. It’s a stunning, powerful film that stays with you long after it’s over.
