Diary Entry forWar and Peace, Part III: The Year 1812
Virtually no character development or memorable dialogue, part three is all out war. No idea how this was even directed, as there must’ve been literally tens of thousands of men on the screen at once. In terms of scale, this is probably the biggest ever. No CGI, real scenes of pure war, a spectacle which will likely never be repeated in film. Fully understand why most people give this five stars, but for me the characters drive the story, and as impressive as this is it didn't keep me as entertained as the second part did.
