Diary Entry forThoroughbreds
Horse girls are evil, this is common knowledge. Quite liked Mark and found myself agreeing with him more throughout the film, Lily's (ATJ) character is entitled, dull and shallow. She thinks the world is hers and everyone else is a puppet, which wears thin and gets boring. Fell like this could've been great, but fell very flat. Oh, and the ending is awful.

Thoroughbreds
Thoroughbreds is a fun thriller, among the likes of films like Heathers in style and theme. It's not a surprise to see that this film was originally intended to be a play, since it plays out very similarly to how a stage play would. Even without the chapter cards, it's clear to see that there are different chapters of the film, different parts of the story in one location that keep going on. Anna Taylor Joy steals the show, while Olivia Cooke gives a career best performance. Altogether, Thoroughbreds is a fun thriller that will likely grow to become a cult classic.
