This film felt muddled and rushed, with the plot been thrown at you at lightning speed. The last half hour is by far the best part of the film, and saves it from being a disaster. The ending, however, is great and fitting for the story.

Film end, sweet release. Jumping into a ball pit of dialogue, a little awe-inspiring seeing it in action. Toppy-top-tier Sandler? Yeah, I think this might be it. Leaning headlong into that career-spanning drive of intolerable characters. Story-wise what lingers with me most is just how paltry the stakes actually were, in the grand scheme, for all the ruinous energy devoted to it. Lot of us subsisting off of crumbs any given week, watching this action. Punches deep.
