Diary Entry for...And God Created Woman
Bridget Bardot is excellent in an otherwise okay movie. No character in this is particularly worth rooting for, especially the old perv and two brothers. The 4K restoration is nice though. An okay film which I have no plans of ever rewatching.

Brigitte Bardot is a sensationally gorgeous goddess; a femme fatale; a girl starving for affection in the underrated French drama ... And God Created Woman. I admired her conveniently good performance; it was nonetheless the best presence in the movie. She's effortlessly sexy and charming, just like the delicate and somewhat bodacious film. Without her in a scene, the entertainment stoops, and thankfully, there isn't a lot of that. She shimmers against the French scenic backdrop.
