I went into this film with high expectations, as I loved the first purge had it not been for the one annoying character. However, sadly this film also had one unbelievably annoying character in Cali. Sadly, another good film ruined by one character.

The Purge: Anarchy wasn't as wild as I imagined, there wasn't even any anarchy, just anarchists on killing people, no people destroying buildings or anything that made the city so chaotic. I expected more chaos to be shown. I'm also curious if this really happened irl? I mean there's an event like this every year? Please enlighten me, cuz I'm interested to know.

As good as the first, with a little twist with the rich people. A bit white-saviour-esque but again so was the first. Man, it’s always the governments fault
