Diary Entry forYi Yi
Masterpiece. There isn’t really much more to say. Shows life through age and what it means to be at each age. The young boy reminded me a lot of my cousin which was interesting, and everything feels so real. An amazing time which everyone should watch.

edward yang put so much care into this movie, i clearly saw it with his directing and writing, especially the writing! it's so authentic and deep. i rarely ever adore a kid's character but yang yang is such an adorable little guy, i wanna adopt him! i was worried about the long run time, and it did get to me, thus, the 4 and a half star. but it was worth it for the moment at the end and i think once i rewatch this again in the future, the runtime won't bother me anymore.

This movie starts from a wedding and ends at a funeral, where this movie starts from happiness until various problems arise that cause sadness. Actually this movie is good but in my opinion the duration is very long so it feels a little boring with various new problems that arise while the past problems have not been resolved. Watching this movie is also like watching a vlog from an apartment with various families and their problems. If you have a lot of time, please watch this movie.

this is a film that finds you when you need to watch it, and what it gives you in the end is something to sit with and take with you until you find the right words to articulate what you already felt inside. absolutely in love with the cinematography, the composition of the shots and the play with the reflections was so genius, im in awe
