A feel good film which achieves its goal, The Lost City is a pretty basic Rom-Com. It’s funny at the start, not overly funny in the middle and ends on a nice note. The film is obviously very predictable but the cast is so good they carry the film to still be entertaining and fun. The start with Brad Pitt is by far the best, when he dies the film does slow down and isn’t as funny, but still worth a watch.

“hey, you smell that” that phrase made me tear up the second time alan said that to loretta, it was just so pure and precious and just full of love. i didn’t think i would root for loretta and alan as a couple but my god chaning tatum is so charming in this movie that i started cheering for them. i mean one thing about sandra bullock is you can trust her to do a romantic comedy right, like you can never doubt her with that. my only problem is that i wish they could’ve given me more of the romance part but all in all its a pretty good film. also i love the part where they blew up brad pitt’s head, they should start doing it more.

i kinda liked this movie. it was dumb at some parts, i laughed a loud many times but it also has some flaws. 7.4 out of 10 stars.
