Diary Entry forMutiny on the Bounty
Enjoyable, Clark Gable is superb as per and the story is interesting and flows well. The directing is very good and the scale is remarkable all things considered. The Captain of the ship is literally despisable which is perfect for the character. Overall a good and enjoyable watch, it didn’t blow me away but it was good.

Mutiny on the Bounty
While the villain of William Bligh may have been a fantastic character, Mutiny on the Bounty really fell flat, lacking in a truly compelling story, and not leaving the impression of the impact that this mutiny left on Britain. There were some entertaining sequences, but the film had many moments where is started to drag along, and not even Gable or Laughton could keep the film from sinking. I’ve seen that this is the best adaptation of the story, which makes me wonder exactly what is featured in the other ones. It’s a watchable film, but one that I won’t be reivsiting anytime soon.
