Diary Entry forBrief Encounter
A plot which was no doubt controversial at the time, portraying adultery in a somewhat positive light, Brief Encounter is a love story which cannot be. The scandal nature is portrayed as loving and harmless, just a case of circumstances which were unplanned. The acting is great and it’s entertaining, I just felt some scenes were overly long. Also some dialogue felt like filler and didn’t add much to the story. Despite this I did enjoy watching this and would even label it a must watch, despite my star rating. It’s not for everyone, but everyone should watch it at least once.
