There is a lot to enjoy here but it just doesn’t have enough meat on the bones to really make it interesting. The premise is interesting and feels unique enough to stand on its own but I feel this could’ve been so much more than it turned out to be. The first hour is so interesting but when you know everything about the horror it becomes very obvious how this will end. Sally Hawkins literally carries this on her back, a fantastic performance from her and I feel this would’ve faltered much each had a lesser actor played the same role. Also feels like wasted potential but it’s still a good watch.
