Anna Karenina is a film I’ve wanted to watch for a long time and I’m glad I finally have. The story is one of love, lust and loss. It’s a lesson in betrayal, following your lust and the consequences which can follow. I wasn’t a massive fan of the stage setting, I wish they’d of just done it as a traditional film, but apart from that it’s a pretty good watch. Personally I didn’t feel bad for Anna in the slightest, she virtually abandons her son and the film seems to forget he even exists until right at the end. Worth a watch.
