Diary Entry forThe Killing of a Sacred Deer
This was good in places, and I get that the point is to be unique and strange, but the dialogue often takes you out of any suspense which builds. At times its very funny, especially when it's trying to be scary. This is possibly the least scary horror I have ever seen, with it being more of a comedy/mystery. F*** Martin, I was rooting for his death for much of the film and to be spoiler free I won't reveal his fate. The acting is good, and I did enjoy this film, I just feel the plot was a little silly for how serious it was taking itself.

The Killing of a Sacred Deer
I swear, no one makes me feel as weirdly uncomfortable yet fascinated as Yorgos does. The tension starts from the very first scene, and it never lets up. But at the same time, the shots are so damn beautiful, and his set design is just so him. The cast’s performances make the film even better, and, of course, the biggest highlight for me… Colin Farrell. 🔥

The Killing of a Sacred Deer
