Diary Entry forDracula
Silly fun is the only way to describe this. Is it scary? Not in the slightest. Does it have good acting? Not in the slightest. Is it fun and easy to watch? Yes. Worth watching is you haven't seen it but its really not great. Happy pancake day.

Dracula
❝Since the death of Jonathan Harker, Count Dracula, the propagator of this unspeakable evil, has disappeared. He must be found and destroyed!❞ · · ───── ·⋆⋅𖤓⋅⋆· ───── · · For a film called Dracula there's a surprising lack of the titular character. Nevertheless, this colour iteration of the horror icon's story has some great performances and a compelling story. Christopher Lee's portrayal of Dracula isn't necessarily as menacing as Bela Lugosi's 1931 version, but he's strangely more enticing and weirdly romantic (I do have to note that he doesn't say 'bleh bleh bleh' 💔). I really liked Peter Cushing as Dr. Van Helsing, and Michael Gough as Arthur Holmwood, but I wish Mina and Lucy got some more screen-time. The plot changes the story in comparison to Bram Stoker's original novel, but not in a bad way, though the ending for me was very rushed. I liked the atmospheric lighting and the beautiful sets, and the costumes were very well done. All in all, a really good film, and seeing as it's the first 'Dracula' film in colour, I can see why it's so beloved.
