Margot Robbie is great in this but that’s no surprise as she’s great in everything she’s in. She carries this film a little too much though and it’s noticeable, as it feels like a professional is surrounded by amateurs. The rest of the cast aren't bad, they just don’t carry the weight of Margot Robbie, it feels off. Eugene is annoying, indecisive and plain stupid at times, it feels crazy that Allison would fall in love with him. I don’t know why he hates his step dad so much either, George seems a good guy and does always look out for Eugene. It’s not a bad film, but it’s nothing great.
