Mustang
Mustang is the first Turkish film I've seen. The story is somewhat exciting, but it didn't completely blow me away. The acting was only solid, but still quite okay. The atmosphere is a matter of taste, and it wasn't entirely to my liking. Nevertheless, it's a memorable film that's easy to watch for a relaxing break, thanks to its short runtime.

Wild Strawberries
Wild Strawberries is a wonderful film and, in my opinion, the best Ingmar Bergman film I've seen so far. I love the tranquil atmosphere and the beautiful scenery. Watching Isak recall some of his most beautiful moments in life was wonderful, such as the strawberries or his girlfriend Sara. Overall, a really cool short film that I would rate 4.4/5.

Le Samouraï
Le Samouraï is a very cool assassin film by Jean-Pierre Melville. The film is nicely slow-paced and has relatively little dialogue; I'm a big fan of films like this. In my opinion, Alain Delon as Jef Costello exudes his aura throughout the entire film, precisely because he hardly speaks and is dressed so coolly and old-fashionedly. I love him. Overall, a very strong film that I would rate 4.2/5 ⭐.

Summer with Monika
Summer with Monika is another great film by Bergman. I love the beautiful scenes with the boat and nature. I find it a shame that seemingly all the relationships that initially looked like they would last forever end up like this. Nevertheless, overall another strong film by Bergman.

Stagecoach
Stagecoach is action-packed, a classic western, and simply cool to watch. Ringo just has aura in this film. I saw the 1939 colorized version, and in my opinion, it looked very good. Overall, a cool western with John Wayne, lighthearted and easygoing, which I would rate 3.7/5.

Christiane F.
Christiane F. is impressive to watch. The whole film is about the 70s and 80s in Berlin, and in my opinion, it was horrific to see what was going on back then. Probably one of the best German films I've seen to date. Christiane's decline is so terrible to witness. I also somehow liked the atmosphere, with all the twilight and nighttime scenes in a big city in the 70s. All in all, everyone should definitely see this film at least once because it's so realistic and sheds light on many issues. I would rate the film 4.2/5.

Almost Famous
Watching Almost Famous was simply brilliant. I love Led Zeppelin, Black Sabath, and the Rolling Stones, and seeing them all in one film is just so peak. The music in the film is a 10/10, and the story is just as great. The film offers almost everything: emotional, happy, fun, love, and simply amazing music from the 70s. I really enjoyed watching the film, and I think that won't be the only time I see it. A fantastic film that I can definitely recommend to anyone who still listens to rock and roll today.I would rate it 4.3/5

Autumn Sonata
Autumn Sonata is another superb film by Bergman. I completely understand why it would be rated 5 stars, but for me, it doesn't quite reach that level because the story doesn't quite resonate with me. Nevertheless, it's a very powerful film with a classical feel and classical music. Bergman masterfully creates the atmosphere, making you feel completely immersed in the film. Overall, it's another very strong Bergman film, just like his others, which I would rate 4.1/5.

Project X
Project X is a typical American high school movie. It's about a group of unpopular guys throwing a birthday party and things spiraling completely out of control. Sometimes you need movies like that, even if they don't offer much substance, but you can still connect with the characters. That's why I think Project X is a very successful American high school movie.

Badlands
Badlands is a great film to unwind with. The stunning natural scenery and beautiful atmosphere are what make the film so special, in my opinion. The story is also quite simple and accessible to everyone. I really enjoyed the soundtrack as well, so overall I have no complaints about the film. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite reach 4.5 stars because the story, for my taste, didn't offer enough depth.

Serpico
Serpico is beautifully emotional and relaxing to watch. Unfortunately, in my opinion, it's not Sidney Lumet's best film, but it's still a very strong one. The different facets of Al Pacino's performance throughout the film are well showcased. Overall, it's definitely a powerful cop film directed by Sidney Lumet and starring Al Pacino.

Buffalo '66
Buffalo '66 is atmospherically breathtaking and very funny at first glance. Billy initially seems like the villain, but in reality, he isn't. He was injured himself, and that's what made him who he is. The alternate ending, where he had fired the shot, shows the harsh reality, but then he changes his mind, and there's a happy ending. Overall, Buffalo '66 is a very powerful film that doesn't show much on the surface but carries a deeper message.

All That Jazz
All That Jazz was quite stressful to watch. The fast pace and all the stimuli are what make this film so compelling. Joe's stressful life and how he gradually deteriorates both mentally and physically is portrayed very well. I only knew the legendary phrase "It's shot time, folks" from Better Call Saul, but seeing its actual origin was really cool. Overall, a very powerful classic film with a somewhat deeper message.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower
The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a great film for a relaxing evening. The film is emotionally quite profound, but still a lot of fun to watch. In my opinion, the fantastic soundtrack deserves special mention; it was simply brilliant. You can really empathize with Charlie in this film and feel everything he goes through. Overall, a very powerful film that will definitely stay with you.

Rififi
Rififi is exciting, emotional, and beautiful. The story alone is simply brilliant—a robbery in a big city. The way this robbery was carried out was truly impressive. And the story afterward was also good, but in my opinion, unfortunately not as good as the parts before and during the robbery. Nevertheless, a very powerful heist film that everyone should see at least once.

The Train
TUTUTU

Barry Lyndon
Wow, very likely the most beautiful film I've ever seen. Luckily, I got to see this masterpiece a second time in 4K at the cinema; every single minute of this film felt like a work of art. Ryan O'Neal in what is probably his best role. My personal Kubrick favorite. Everyone should see this masterpiece to appreciate the imagery it contains.

Taxi Driver
Taxi Driver is an intense film that really moved me. The portrayal of Travis Bickle, a lonely outsider in New York, is extremely haunting. Robert De Niro plays the role incredibly convincingly – you can really feel him slowly slipping into madness. The dark atmosphere and the music contribute greatly to the mood. The ending, in particular, made me think. Overall, a powerful, albeit disturbing, film that lingers long after the viewer leaves a lasting impression.
