this is me realizing kyle chandler and josh hartnett are different people sequence explaining the lee chandler fire lore was intense - i understand the grabbing the cops gun scene now after seeing it memed so much one of those movies that doesn’t seem to be about much but just captures a few days, not the best way to describe that but uk. poor lee. i think i liked the fragmentedsyuzhet. mirrors the trauma , how his past isn’t behind him but intruding every day , and intensified by his brothers death. fun when movies play with that.

This film fucking hits. It's just something I didn't expect it to be. I was going to compare it with "Sometimes I think about dying" because of it's atmosphere and everything. But it just surpasses it on so many levels. The acting in it is just so fresh and blooming. It's just so hard to see someone struggling and the scene of Randi and Lee was the one that made this film an amazing example of being in a character so deeply, both of them but mostly Casey. Just by looking at his face says a lot, he is enduring and swallowing a whole lot of grief and pain and it's more evident when he is holding it inside and it just shows the level of acting he is doing. But hands off to Lee's humour and his habit of getting into fights. However, it is hard to ignore the love and nonchalance the characters have, especially Lee and Patty. It was a pleasure to watch such film with such good atmosphere and pure acting that is very rare to find.
