Grandpa with all his tricks, he is smart and cunning, I am less sure if he really loves her, he loves her only for money, actually this movie could have been explored more deeply, but for a short movie this is quite good, it's a shame that every short film has a unsolved ending.

Funny they mention Japan because on the first thought, this reminded me of this Japanese folk tale about the girl who was made of snow and how she’d melt away when Summer came and the man who wifed her was heartbroken, sounds stupid in my vague description but a beautiful tale. I have mixed feelings about stop motion, while it makes everything seem so authentic and obviously real, it just looks ugly. The stories told through them however are always special. This one was as well and the twist kinda took me off.
