Heat

the last scene. the bank robbery turned into shoot out. this was incredible but a bit too long for me. if i had watched this before my friend ashley made her famous "who's the hottest, pacino or de niro?" twitter poll i would have def voted for al (but i voted for de niro originally), he was scrumptious in this. i will need to rewatch another time because my beginning of a migraine made it hard for me to concentrate and truly appreciate what i was watching. also lowkey this was gay.

Genuinely great. The scene in the diner where they’re just taking about their lives is fantastic, as is De Niro on the phone to the villain. Really ending the ending too, two sides of a coin, mutual respect. The run time flys by and feels closer to two hours than three, wasn’t overly sold on some of the subplots, especially Val Kilmers which I found quite silly, but apart from that I really enjoyed it.

On my way to read the sequel of this masterpiece... Nothing else to add, this piece of celluloid aged like wine.
