SPOOOKTOBER #12 What I love about Midnight Mass is how the story unfolds gradually. Flanagan really knows how to build tension through thoughtful dialogue that encourages me to reflect on my own beliefs, hopes, and sorrows. The atmosphere is incredibly engaging; I felt like I was actually on Crockett Island. The dramatic lighting and symbolic visuals add depth that keeps me hooked. The haunting silence of the island really heightens the sense of uncertainty and anxiety, making every moment feel even more intense. This has to be one of Flanagan’s best works. He’s a true master at weaving emotion into everything he does.

i can’t believe a whole island is gone just like that, beverly keane i hope you are burning at the deepest pits of hell over and over again. leeza and warren are good final girl and boy considering the fact that all the adults sacrificed theirselves just to get them safe but i am mourning erin, sarah, and sheriff hassan’s final boy and final girls potential.

the show was a bit too slow in the beginning and i didn't know where the plot was gonna go. i wasn't sure that i was gonna like this series in the beginning, but the last 2 episodes definitely made the first few episodes worthwhile and ended up really loving the show! honestly, not surprised at all with all the amazing work mike has done in the past with the haunting series, cannot wait to see what he creates next!
