Oh, the silly gay ghost husband movie with the wonky looking cgi made me cry? I really enjoyed the hell out of this movie. It's incredibly funny and very entertaining. The twists and turns this movie took were also wild as hell. I love the main title card that splashes on screen (and also during the credits). Greg Hsu and Austin Lin have some really great chemistry and comedic timing here. This movie is also surprisingly heartfelt and emotional. The ending hit me like a fucking brick, I wasn't expecting to be that torn up by it (then again, most people simply want to be accepted by their fathers. To quote Richard Siken, "Everyone longs for a father figure. Even those with fathers. Even fathers. That's why we invented God"). I think my only issues with the film were the aforementioned "wonky" cgi and some pretty iffy green-screen. Also, the crime plot line takes up so much screen-time, I just wanted more of Mao Mao and Wu Ming-Han being silly together. Oh well, the movie is camp, so it's fine! Check this one out, it's on Netflix
