How to Make a Killing

This is just a fun time. Sure, the premise is simple enough and there is t much depth to any of the characters, but it’s just a fun time. The performances are all solid and Glen Powell is great as always, just one of those movies which is fun and easy.

How to Make a Killing

A movie with a good, clever, crazy and clean plot doesn't exi- This movie: hold my brain. I was gagged when watching this movie, the plot is so clean, even i kinda didn't like the ending, but i can't refuse that this movie is clever, impressed by how Becket do that to all his family member without leaving a trace, and then there's Julie that ruined everything that he's build from the start. I'm sure the priest would exorcist himself after hearing Becket story cuz me too.

How to Make a Killing

Rolled my eyes more than once watching this. I think it tries to be stylish, but I continue to struggle to watch Glen Powell as a lead. He’s so frat boy to me. Very much unstylish. His face and smirk are just as punchable as Jesse Eisenberg’s. Even the way he stands, the way he walks… I can’t. To be fair though if you replaced Glen Powell with a different white male American actor, included an actress with the allure and gravitas Margaret Qualley lacks here, added some directorial flair and kept that twist in there… this would STILL be basic. That’s not to say I don’t like the premise. I just need more allure. A Black woman lead, a disabled man, an Asian man - something!! This would be SO good as a K-drama. I also noticed some plot conveniences and continuity issues. #mostA24moviesarerubbish
