imagine fighting an alien, your whole crew died, surviving alone, being in hyper sleep for 57 years, found out your daughter died, have the worst nightmares, they don’t believe you about the aliens, and then sent you on a mission that involves aliens like my girl just cannot catch a break my god. i think it is  better than the first one though because it went straight through the action plus ripley and newt found a family with each other which made it more emotional and got me attached. as usual the set design and practical effects are so beautiful, i love art.

An amazing film, Aliens is truly great. Everything from the acting to the suspense keeps you hooked in for the entire time, it’s fun and has quirky characters that start out strange but over the film you learn to care for. So many Aliens, Ripley is an absolute legend and if it wasn’t for her human may well be dead by now. Mother v Mother showdown, fantastic.

Sendo completamente diferente do clima de terror e tensão do primeiro filme, essa sequência foca num grupo de marines indo até o local da nave alienígena que está repleta de ovos e após vários incidentes envolvendo uma quantidade maior de Xenomorfos. Essa sequência de Alien trabalha o trauma de Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) como última sobrevivente da própria Tripulação e o encontro com a vida alienígena Xenomorfa que levou a óbito todos seus antigos companheiros. Essa sequência dirigia por James Cameron faz jus ao diretor que conduz o filme, uma vez que o filme foca muito mais nos momentos de ação, com 10 vezes mais inimigos, um elenco que é o puro suco dos filmes de ação brucutu da década de 1980 com uma entrega maior de sua protagonista, mas que tem seus momentos de tensão bem pontuais e sendo a ação e seus confrontos o ponto forte da sequência e de sua execução.
