Lion
I actually started watching Lion three days ago, but over the course of the three days, I became busy, so I had to watch the film in chunks. Finally, I watched the last chunk of the film. Altogether, Lion is an extremely enjoyable film that is really heartwarming, despite being deeply saddening at times. It's a story of being lost and wanting to be found, which occurs several times along the course of the film. Dev Patel was fantastic, as was Kidman. It's interesting to see that the Academy decided that Patel was a supporting actor instead of a lead actor, even though he was in about half of the film. Kidman is one of my favorite actresses but I'm not sure that she should have been nominated, since she really didn't have much screen time. She had one extremely powerful scene, but that's about it when it came to her role. Lion is a fantastic film that I'm really glad to have finally seen. Do I think it's worthy of a Best Picture nomination? Not so much, but I do think that it may do well in other categories. Now with this, I finish several categories, including having watched all of the Best Picture nominees. Finally I feel like I'm back on track to trying to watch almost all of the films nominated this year.
Lion
I can't believe they didn't shoot the iconic dancing-chasing when they're at India.
Lion
81/100 wish he and his brother reunited
Lion
Lion se carga de emociones para una historia desgarradora y cautivadora, Realmente su primer acto es increíble pero su manera de desenvolverse es predecible y sin tanta esencia.
