Really enjoyed this one. Beautiful scenes, design and storytelling combine to make a masterpeice. I can see why this has such a high rating, but at the same time I beleive this had something missing to make it truly great for me. The story has strange pacing, and I felt a bit lost at times, but take nothing away from this, it is a great film and a must watch. Fire.

Okay but what the helly—the ending was on another level of doomedness that my yuri ass couldn't even handle. I was smiling and giggling, and then my jaw dropped halfway through the end of the film. It's definitely tragically beautiful, but I probably won't rewatch it for the sake of my own sanity.
