Film School Drop Outs Weekly Challenge (https://letterboxd.com/goghaliens/list/film-school-drop-outs-weekly-challenge-2019) Week 14 - Movement - British New Wave (1950-1969) "It's as if they're flying in a pocket of silence." Loved this quote! Don't have anything to say other than I just didn't really connect with it as much as I had come to expect because of its high critical acclaim. The final moments didn't hit me emotionally. But it's well-acted, amazingly shot, and drenched in atmosphere. The training scenes & the flights were pretty. That club song, & library scene were funny, other than that, it was mainly sad, and at times uncomfortable. How to train your kestrel gets a 3.75
