stupid fun in the best way. jokan actually lands the comedy here, way funnier than expected. ensemble works fine, no one feels out of place. aming really steals it though, every time he shows up the movie just picks up. gore is surprisingly well staged, not just shock value, more like oddly composed set pieces. satire is there but doesn’t really go anywhere, just kind of sits in the background. it’s messy, loud, and doesn’t try to be anything deeper than it is.

SERU BGTTT WKWKWK this movie looks soo ambitious in a good way Bercerita ttg adanya setan atrsy (which i really like dead bodies installationsnya) di lapas setelah kedatangan tahanan baru. Tapi sebelum setan goibnya dtg, lapasnya itu sendiri udah dikuasai oleh setan duniawi, alias kepala sipirnya wkwkw. Ghost in the cell sangat terang-terangan nyindir pemerintah indo dan bbrp oknum yg katanya mau merubah sistem, eh malah jd bagian dr sistem hehe. Speaking of menyindir pemerintahan bobrok, w ngerasa filmnya terlalu on-the-nose dan bahkan sering nyuapin penonton pdhl signsnya udah jelas.. well atau itu emg niat sutradaranya utk stay on the surface level(?) karna kayak isu yg diangkat banyak tapi kayak yauda aja gt.. atau emg ngikutin real life, yg mana bukannya permasalahannya selesai tapi dibiarkan aja sampe "selesai". Also beberapa dialog kayak terkesan too woke. Well, meskipun banyak sindiran ke pemerintah, tapi film ini lucu.. dialognya luwes, celetukkan asbunnya juga lucu, tapi ada bbrp momen dmn komedinya malah jd moment-breaker.. kyk lagi seru2nya malah di cut sama scene yg sebenernya ga lucu. At the end, Ghost In The Cell is still a worth-watching movie. p.s. Prakasa (((Kitabuming))) and pedang uang are WILDDD WKWKWK
