As a big fan of Contempt I was expecting something similar, however this isn’t nearly as interesting to me. Sure, the styles are very similar, Godard definitely has his own techniques, but this felt far less interesting or important. Sure, there are some good scenes and the cinematography is excellent, but the plot just wasn’t for me.
