prior watching this, i didn't know what this was about. i dont really read synopsis that much. but by god, i love vampire films so much. they always offer so much depth about life.

Let the Right One In
All in all, kids are brutal, man. Underrated, beautiful, tender and easily the superior 2008 vampire romance film. Not actually horror? It focuses on oskar a bullied and isolated kid who is drawn to eli, an equally alone being, because of his need for connection and acceptance. I appreciate and love its standout scenes - that pool sequence, that lady's transformation, and that amazing one answering the age-old question of what happens when a vampire enters a place uninvited. Now, if anyone hasn't done it before, then, quick someone make a film centered on the why of it all - just exactly why THAT happens when they break that rule and its origination in great detail. If the answer is a witch or the likes put a curse on the vampires to keep them out for people's protection, after one's disrespectful/grotesque act or something like that, then you're out.
