Ready or Not 2: Here I Come
After watching this it’s made me see how good of a Ghostface killer Sarah Michelle Gellar would have been if she was one in Scream 2 as I loved her fight scenes in this. Speaking of Scream, Francesca was giving Amber Freeman with the way she was talking and acting honestly she was the person I liked the most in it. Loved the goat and I loved Graces black veil it was very cool. Can’t believe they had Crazy by 4Minute as a needle drop in the film it was insane to hear. I spilled my drink all over myself at the start of the movie in the cinema so I had to sit there for the whole movie covered in Pepsi.

Full Metal Jacket
Both parts of the film are good, I chose to watch because I always see clips of the first part but honestly I prefer the second part more. It’s funny because I usually hate war films so it’s surprising that I prefer when they are in Vietnam. I loved Pyle and how he went crazy in the bathroom he actually looked scary but I wish he ended up shooting all of them. I like Jokers born to kill and peace sign as a way of showing duality of man because I have often thought of ways of doing it myself. I loved the female sniper and Joker being the only merciful one there which actually makes the slogan on his hat and the peace sign match as even though he is killing her he is bringing her peace.
Ready or Not
Samara weavings scream is something I’ve never heard in my life it’s very unique. Not really fan of these type of movies so I went in low expectations and left with a bit higher than I thought I’d have. The dialogue at times was rather cringey but it’s guy busick who wrote it so I’m not really surprised.
Get Out
I know Amber Freeman was going crazy watching this film I did enjoy this a lot more than Us, I actually believed that Rose was innocent at first so that was a crazy plot twist and concept too

It’s good, but not as good as the first. How was her containment area so easy to access like it should be only few people who know not to let others in that aren’t to do with contamination. Still don’t get why it was so easy for the children to escape the place and get out. The father somehow finding them in the underground as the infected too like…
28 Years Later: The Bone Temple
Genuinely impressed with how fast they released this after 28 years later and it’s actually good and doesn’t seem like it took so short. Jimmys obsession with the teletubbies is freaking everyone out, and his gang is so goofy I love their cross scars on their heads. Kelsons show was so camp like he do not have to do all that but he just randomly went out of his way to make it huge and musical. It annoyed me so much when he died because his works unfinished and I loved seeing how the progress with Samson was going. Jim’s appearance at the end with his daughter and then the music when they were gonna save the others was so exciting I loved. Also what’s up with Jack O’Connell and killing people in barns.

I just didn’t care as much as I was expecting to, tae-ju was cool until she turned into a vampire because then she became insufferable tbh. I liked the whole vampire priest thing but when he went against it all it kinda fell off for me.
28 Days Later
“I can see them they’re coming, ah..” in the most calm/ bored voice ever. I usually don’t enjoy zombie movies but I thourougly enjoyed this one. It looks like it was shot a 3ds camera but that really adds to it I think, I genuinely believe that it wouldn’t have the same affect it had on me if it was shot on a better camera. The music and soundtrack is so good especially the shopping scene and the scene just before Jim reunites with Selena at the end when he’s killing the army men. The house scene with Selena and mark was actually insane and so realistic that it was actually scary like the way it was shot and everything. I think that’s genuinely one of the best scenes I’ve seen in a long time if not ever. I really liked Selena’s character it was kinda predictable that Jim would be the one to make her soften up and not be so cold when it came to how she was handling the outbreak. Jim in the Wicklow jumper was so cool to see and also he looks like buckshot especially when he cut all his hair off and beard. This movie would honestly be 5 stars for me and should be but I didn’t really enjoy when the army men came into it especially the dinner scene I just found that scene a bit boring. I just really loved it up until that point but Jim killing them all saved it for me, I just kinda wanted it to go exactly how it was where they were on their own fighting with Frank and Hannah. Also why did Frank ditch the mask and balaclava I’m guessing they did that just so they could set up his death but I wish he would have actually used it more. The random liminal shot with the windmills was so random and unexpected that it made me laugh.

I think Lars von Trier has a thing for genital mutilation or he’s just a big cannibal corpse fan I really do enjoy how he made the movie in different chapters just like he did in The House that Jack Built, and also just how he directs the movie looks so good even though whats unfolding on the screen is horrific. I can say that this is a horror that I have not experienced or seen before, I cannot compare it to any movie as it’s just so crazy and unexpected that you can’t imagine what’s going to happen next. The brutality and the suffering is so extreme. Also showed an intrusive thought that I have on the screen that made me even more uncomfortable. I don’t see this film as misogynistic at all like some do I see it as a woman who touched grass for the first time and went crazyyy

Eternity chaos the whole house is going crazy and the father is doing flips in his bedroom off robotussin. Actually got really depressing towards the end

I think I love Harmony Korine he literally makes the most random stuff but it’s so good that it’s made me love experimental films and the themes that he portrays taboo, dysfunctional, etc. “It would be nice to live without a head” I think everyone should wear old people’s masks with a red bob and terrorise their neighbourhood.

Was not expecting Katharine Isabelle to be in this but it was a nice surprise. His plan was kinda crazy though like he was prepared for it all, still don’t get how the police from other towns didn’t get there asap like he was doing it for ages
