Watched this during a family Christmas party where this was just playing in the background (expect I was seated for it), so that means I couldn’t hear it very well and there was a little fat kid running around who was being very distracting. I think for this film, these are the peak conditions required to view it. Also, it was a very interesting move when Santa was in jail and he looks at a group of women and decides “They need sluttier outfits.” ALSO, amazing to see Lamorne Morris, as always. Made me want to rewatch Game Night though…

The Christmas Chronicles is an entertaining and lovingly made Christmas film with plenty of charm. Kurt Russell as Santa is a refreshingly different take on the character, even if the story remains quite predictable. Nevertheless, The Christmas Chronicles exudes plenty of Christmas spirit and simply puts you in a good mood.
