A prime example of a good plot that is poorly executed

I See You

With some twists and turns that were completely unexpected, you’d think that I See You would be a better film. Unfortunately, this film wasn’t executed in the best way, making the transitions from the twists abrupt and completely derail the film. The first act of the film is superb, with a great setup, great score, and some fantastic tension, which ultimately gets taken away when the film starts to get more complex. By the end of the film, I was just waiting for it to be over, since I wasn’t invested anymore in any of the characters, just hoping that it would be over soon. There’s bits and pieces of this film that actually work well, but when they’re all put together, it gets muddled and takes away from any enjoyment that the beginning of the film brought.
