Cult of Personality 2024 (https://letterboxd.com/allbeef/list/cult-of-personality-2024/) #24 of 52 | Clint Howard (https://letterboxd.com/actor/clint-howard/) It switches from hearty comedy in the first half to serious family drama in the second, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing here. Much of the stacked cast acts their butts off and they manage to touch on some emotional scenarios that I’m sure still happen to many parents nowadays. And, of course, it doesn’t hurt that Steve Martin is being his usual cynical sassy self.
