Peter Pan

One of the few original Disney films I’d never seen before, Peter Pan was a strange film. Pan, the main protagonist, is the least likeable in the film, with Wendy being the only likeable character. Still, it was fun and interesting like every Disney classic.

Wanting to get into Disney's filmography again, I thought it would be nice to visit some of the older classics that I haven't watched in a very long time. Peter Pan was one of my favorite Disney films growing up, and the magic that I remember is still there. It's a fun and magical tale that everyone can enjoy, especially with kids not wanting to grow up and become adults. This film can be problematic at times, due to the inappropriate portrayal of Native Americans, but the rest of the film is completely fine. It's a fun film that definitely brings me back to my childhood, sitting in my best friend's house finally getting to watching it.

It’s been ages since I last watched Peter Pan, and I honestly really had a fun time watching it this time around. It’s definitely aged pretty poorly when it comes to the Native representation, which makes the film feel a bit grimey overall. Still, it’s a cute and entertaining film, despite the poor representation within.
