Heart Eyes
“sometimes the bloodiest movies have the biggest hearts.” i went in fully expecting this to be another corny horror that tried way too hard to be funny, but wow was i wrong. the horror side of it wasn’t really scary at all, but the gore definitely delivered. what shocked me though was just how funny it was—like actual belly-laugh funny. the chemistry between mason gooding and olivia holt felt so natural, so real, that it carried the whole thing to another level. it’s rare for a film to balance gore and comedy without feeling forced, but this one really nailed it. honestly such an underrated gem that i haven’t heard many people talk about, but i’d recommend everyone give it a watch.

A bad scream rip off with a bad script, bad acting and predictable villains. Not much to enjoy with this, the kills arnt even interesting and it’s not scary in the slightest. Very disappointing. The script is also pretty horrible with cringe dialogue throughout. Couldn’t care about either of the main characters and they have little to no chemistry. Best thing about this is the costume designs, what does that tell you.
Heart Eyes
"These muscles weren't made for violence -- they were made for cuddling!" A self-aware rom-com stacked on top of a self-aware slasher, makes for a cutesy and kinda fun night in. It ain't February out there but happy hunting all the same.
