holly, the lead character, was kind of very annoying can't say this movie is bad, cant say this movie is great, its in between. there are good scenes and moments and some not so good ones. i guess i would give it maybe a 5.5 out of 10 stars and say if you wanna watch a kind of dumb found footage movie with a decent plot twist/ending than this is the movie for that. the plot twist was cool, would've been better if the film was over all better. the cgi creatures were kind of bad but this was obviously a low budget film so i dont fault them for that, they did what they could. but they would've been better looking if the film had a bigger budget.

Devil's Pass is a nearly unwatchable horror film. The found footage aspect of it seemed to work at first, but the documentary set up seemed like a waste of time, where the more traditional found footage style would have suited it more. The subject of the film is extremely interesting, but the film somehow managed to make it uninteresting and less terrifying. The scares were almost non-existent, with a majority of the scares occurring in the climax of the film. There really was nothing good about Devil's Pass, making it a film that you put on as background noise, rather than sit and waste energy trying to watch it.
