The love I have for this movie is immense, it used to be my fav film when I was 6, and I vividly remember wanting to be a figure skater so freaking bad, like when my mother mopped the house and the floor was still wet I used to do pirouettes thinking I was going to be an amazing figure skater, it holds a really special place in my heart and memory, and this movie is the reflection of my childhood impossible dream. Rewatching this movie after a long time made me feel so emotional and I felt like I was a little girl again, also the final scene where she skates with that blue dress makes me sobb every time and she surely was a queer awakening for me (I just didn't know at the time obvsly) Such a pretty movie ❤️
