That tribute scene makes me bawling my eyes and warm my heart after all that Jay has done, this movie can be said to be absolute cinema because we are like in a journey of an actor or Jay Kelly which is full of ups and downs and I also like the scene of Jay Kelly's youth which shows his process of becoming an actor, this is like a Biopic but I like it. Please don't retire Jay Kelly, you can go again.

Jay Kelly
Poor absent father figure, white, privileged and successful, who remains selfish until the end even after watching all his failures parade before him throughout his life. Jay Kelly is a self-deluding film that reaches some good scenes, but they feel forced, like the therapy session, and overall lacking real weight. Failed fatherhood and the feeling of loneliness are the only things that truly have emotional strength, the rest is basically a man complaining and suffering the consequences of his own actions while he could simply do things right. Even so, it works as an acting character study. But beyond that… nothing more.

Poor me, poor me, pour me a stiff drink because this was a hard watch. Cute to begin with but got pretentious towards the end. I rolled my eyes at least twice during this. The Rachel Weisz look-a-like Daphne was attractive and Adam Sandler was the best part. Also they could’ve done this in like 1.5hrs. Not 2.25. Cinematography was great - I loved the colouring.
