Pure

Pure is the latest film from Hulu’s Into the Dark series, and is yet another strong addition to the series. It keeps a consistent aesthetic throughout, with the likes of strong characters and a solid script. While it did lag at times, I found myself still enjoying the film during those times, which I cannot say the same about with other installments in the series. Pure certainly will not be for everyone, as it clearly does have an agenda, but I had a ton of fun watching strong women on the screen. It seems like they’ve really found their groove with the series, which I hope they continue to do, since the past few have been a ton of fun to watch.

Good god, Alicia Vikander brings an obsessively ravishing debut in this Swedish psychological drama, underseen by many. Hopefully not in the future though as I'm sure plenty would like to see the start of the actress's promising career.
