The Sword in the Stone
Bizarre. There were some things in this that were plain bizarre. Merlin tells Arthur that squirrels have a dangerous life, then turns him into a squirrel. Arthur meets a "girl squirrel" and she falls in love with him and is heartbroken when he leaves. A "girl squirrel" meets Merlin and falls in love and screams in horror when Merlin becomes human. Bizarre. The Sword in the Stone isn't exactly what you think it may be, since it's not Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Instead, this is about Merlin and Arthur becoming friends. Finally in the last couple minutes Excalibur is introduced, which was extremely surprising to me, since that's the title of the film. Nonetheless, The Sword in the Stone isn't the best film Disney has released, but it's certainly not the worst.
