I felt war flashbacks from that Kirkos shit because I went to a Catholic high school and their Jesus camp was called Kairos. It’s 100% true that the assholes who went on it came back and mentioned it all the time but always said they had to keep it secret from people who didn’t go. And you couldn’t just sign up! You had to be invited! I feel like I have a lot of repressed emotions from adolescence that movies like this and Lady Bird taking place in Catholic spaces have really forced me to process.
