Takenis the type of mindless, cash grabbing action films that I can’t stand. With a predictable plot, films like Taken don’t challenge intellectually, only offering mind-numbing imagery that will be forgotten right after finishing the film. To think this spawned two sequels and a television series is beyond me, as I can’t see why these films grew to become so big. Takenmay be a film that is popular, but that is no indication it’s actually a decent film.
