Seriously, people, let’s normalize forgiveness. Mistakes happen everywhere, all the time. But that doesn’t mean we have to destroy a life built over years because of it. Love doesn’t disappear overnight. Can it transform? Yes, but sometimes it’s not enough to stay. It’s incredibly raw to see both sides of the same situation. On one hand, there’s a woman unconditionally supported by her family; on the other, a man who has nowhere to lean on, because the only family he’s had is the one she gave him. It’s really hard not to empathize with both. Because even if you try to take sides, you’re constantly seeing how both of them are suffering, both of them give in, both of them make mistakes. No one comes out clean, but no one is a monster either. Not when affection still lingers, even while their lawyers fight each other to see which client gets more. That said, yet another movie that shows us the real problem is the lawyers.
